Elizabeth Toolen oversees the strategic, operational, and financial management of TS Air Sciences. Joining the company in 2022 as co-founder, Elizabeth leads the organization in delivering high-quality environmental solutions while building lasting client relationships. Her role includes hiring, staff management, and directing warehouse operations, and she actively engages with clients to ensure value-driven solutions for their applications. Elizabeth also spearheads the bid process for large contracts, manages accounts receivable and payable, and oversees scheduling for field technicians with a focus on minimizing environmental impact. Certified as a WBENC member in January 2023, Elizabeth is also part of the WBENC/DMV Sustainability Cohort, dedicated to promoting sustainable business practices.

Beth’s early career spanned nearly a decade at Federated Department Stores in the New York Metropolitan Area. She began as an Assistant Buyer at Abraham & Straus’ flagship store in Brooklyn before advancing to Department Manager and Group Manager. These divisions of the store included Ready-to-Wear, Housewares, Children’s, and Men’s Furnishings. After Federated acquired Macy’s Inc in 1995, she was chosen to be a Regional Merchandise Manager for the company at a time during store acquisition and expansion.

Her experience includes logistics and operations as well as directing merchandise standards at stores across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, equipping her with extensive management expertise and a client-centered approach. Her organizational skills and methods of presentation were often a benchmark for store standards. Beth applied these skills to her volunteer career over the course of twenty-five years while raising a family and now, as President/CFO/CPO of TS Air Sciences.

A Villanova University alumna, Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Psychology. In 2022, she earned a Supply Chain Logistics Certificate from Rutgers University and an Indoor Air Quality Certificate from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, furthering her commitment to environmental excellence.

Elizabeth is an engaged community leader and volunteer. She served as a trustee for the Stone Harbor Property Owners’ Association, where she contributed to sustainability initiatives, flood management, and environmental advocacy. Her involvement with St. Peter’s Preparatory School included roles as Gala Co-Chair and Parent Advisory Council member, and she has served Villanova University through alumni outreach and recruitment efforts.

Tim Toolen brings nearly four decades of specialized experience in the air filtration and environmental sciences sectors. A 1984 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry, Tim furthered his expertise with a Master of Science and a Certificate in Pharmaceutical Engineering from NJIT in 2004.

Tim’s career began at Tri-Dim Filter Corporation, where he developed an extensive background in automotive filtration technology and paint refinishing environments. From 1990 to 2021, he focused on expanding the industrial and commercial HVAC air filtration market across southern New England, with a specific emphasis on the NY Metro area. His expertise supports high-stakes industries like pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, healthcare, and specialized process environments.

Tim is proficient in regulatory compliance with both EU and FDA CFR-21 Part 210/211 standards, as well as environmental reporting and permitting through the DEC/DEP.

His technical skills include VOC emissions rate analysis, air quality assessment, and biological abatement/remediation, enhancing industrial and mechanical system hygiene and indoor environmental quality.

In 1996, Tim co-founded Tri-Dim’s Indoor Environmental Technology (IET) division, serving as a critical service and support arm for the company. As a co-inventor of the patented air filtration device (US Patent #6,579,336B1), his contributions reflect a strong commitment to advancing air quality technology.

In 2022, Tim co-founded TS Air Sciences, where he continues to drive industry standards for excellence and innovation. His affiliations include memberships with ASHRAE, ISPE, BOMA (NYC region), and corporate membership in NAFA. An accomplished author in industry trade journals, Tim holds numerous specialized certifications and offers consulting expertise upon request.
